The "Law of Attraction" made my First Online Marketing Business Venture find me!

My first online marketing business venture came out of ‘nowhere’ and was not really one that I had planned on, and nor do I focus on it, though I believe in it...(another story)...but I believe - because I had opened myself up to the possibility of finding a business to run from home, and knew the eventual reality of finding something to market online the - “Law of Attraction” kicked in and… it found me!


Here's how:


It was a Saturday morning, and a bit of dull day weather wise. I decided to go for a drive and a window shop with the children in tow. I had always liked the idea of having a Hot Tub… so I decided to drop into a hot tub store on our travels. (Just to be nosey and pass some time!)


As the kids and I had our heads stuck into the various models of hot tubs - awestruck at the many bells and whistles, while I was hanging over the edge of a deluxe model – “Bottoms up” - a fellow came up to me and asked: “are you Jayne Anderson?” (My maiden name). I stood up and looked blankly at him. I knew the face but couldn’t put my finger on it…


“I said yes I am …its ‘Kopp’ now… but… yes…”


He said “Wayne Ellis from high school” as he held out his hand.


WOW! … I just about hit the floor. He and I had been friends in high school. He went onto tell me that he had carried a photo of me around with him for 20+ years since high school!! He told me that while in school, I had placed a positive impact on his life in the way of encouragement and instilling in him his own ability to succeed from a very young age!! (What an honour for me… to think of the impact I had on his life – yet I didn’t know it) He did, by the way go onto be very successful!


We had a brief chat, exchanged contact information… and went on our way…


BUT WAIT… it gets better…


About a week prior meeting Wayne, (actually 6 days before we met ) I had been at the town market and had come across a lady who was selling ‘juice’ which was supposed to give you energy and a better sense of wellbeing. I had seen the juice before, but never bothered to try it. I did however, pick up a brochure of ‘testimonials’ from her booth featuring folks who had experienced terrific results because of it.


I was drawn to a fellow on the brochure that had experienced tremendous results from the juice as I needed something to improve my energy and wellbeing due to the past stress and depression due to my divorce and recent upset.


I took the brochure home and placed it on my ‘paper pile’ in my home office.


Later that evening, after seeing Wayne, I was in my office sorting through papers, and picked the ‘juice’ brochure up again just to scan it.


As I looked closely at the man in the brochure, I nearly hit the floor!! The fellow on the Brochure was Wayne… who I had just seen that day, yet hadn’t seen him in the 25 years previous!!


I immediately pick up the phone and called him and explained that I had seen him on a brochure, yet didn’t know it was him until that very moment. We both laughed at the coincidence of not seeing hide nor hare of him for 25 years, then seeing him in a brochure, and 6 days later running into him again after all this time! Again, as I have mentioned… NOTHING happens by accident!


I explained to him that I had in the past wanted to try the ‘juice’ and asked him if he still used the product. He explained to me that he was a ‘distributor’ and the company was an MLM company with whom he was experiencing great success.


He immediately delivered a case of the juice to me so I could try it.


I have to say, that within a few days I felt like a whole new person and wanted to share the product myself!! I had now found my new venture!!!


Because of my situation however, I was not interested in the “standard’ methods of working with an MLM company. I didn’t want to have anything to do with Home Parties, Hotel Meetings and I was not at all interested in chasing friends and family with a bottle of juice in hand. I didn’t want to be in the “NFL” (No friends left) by forcing a bottle of juice down the necks of my acquaintances!!


I decided instead to market it by creating some sort of online marketing business and decided to build a website for ‘Tired Moms” because I WAS a tired mom before the juice and now had boundless energy!! I now found myself bouncing on trampolines, sliding down water-slides, swinging on swings, jogging down the dyke, buzzing through my house like a mad hornet cleaning and organizing…. I thought to myself… all my ‘tired mom’ friends could really use this… so could the rest of the tired moms out there!!


I had NO idea how to build a website… yet through my intense research came across a fantastic comprehensive program> online, which took me through every step and more, and got me on my way building my website and learning everything else a person needs to know!


My first website, “Tips-for-tired-moms.com” was born! (WOW… a new online marketing business…. all based on my desire to distribute juice!!)


One night while testing keywords on my new website, to see how easily my site could be found, I came across a lady who had posted a You Tube video… about a venture also specific to Moms who wanted to find an online marketing business to stay at home with their kids.


I decided to give her a call to find out what she was all about. (Out of curiosity more than anything). She told me how successful she had been with a Top Tier Direct Sales opportunity, and that it had changed her life.


I researched her online marketing business opportunity thoroughly, which lead me on a very different path. I was not ‘thrilled’ for whatever reason on joining her particular opportunity, but while doing my due diligence, came across a similar online marketing opportunity that ‘attracted’ me like bees to honey!!


I don’t know what it was about this new found company, but I needed to be a part of it! I didn’t really feel like investing in something new, but I just knew that I had to do it. I couldn’t sleep, I tossed and turned and every day I thought about this new possibility.


I thought about Tony Robbins quote…”If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten!”


That was it!! After researching for about 6 weeks, I knew that this was right for me…. This is now my primary online marketing business… and might I say the BEST move I ever made!!
